Andrea Linett, PhD

Dr. Andrea Linett is a licensed psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She earned her Master's degree and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Ryerson University. She completed her CPA-accredited predoctoral internship within the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium, where she provided assessment and treatment services to adolescents and adults with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and emotion regulation difficulties. 

Dr. Linett currently provides psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults with a variety of presenting problems. Her primary theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

 

Dr. Linett exhibits strong clinical skills, dedication to exceptional client care, and deep knowledge of evidence-based methods. She approaches clinical practice with a collaborative and nonjudgmental attitude, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and a genuine interest in others' experiences. 

 

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Linett holds a position as Clinical Consultant with the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, through the Canadian Mental Health Association (York Region and South Simcoe branch). In this capacity she provides education, training and clinical consultation in CBT to the program psychotherapists.
